“No fish for you”

I went to the store to get 2 sucker fishes to make sure that my fish tank has enough algae protection. Then to my surprise I was asked a lot of personal questions.... After about 10 minutes of interrogation I have been informed that: 1st I need to bring them a sample of the water 2nd that they wont sell me a sucker now anyway because some lady there decided that I don't have the tank long enough...... To make it clear I had a fish tank for years in the past, very prosperous one in fact and I do know how to manage a fish tank. She then started to argue with me when I told her that I am pretty sure that my fish tank is definitely well managed and old enough for a sucker and ,in fact,that I do have one already and its doing fine. Just what kind of store is it? where clueless people argue with you and wont let you buy anything?!

Epilogue: I went to the local pet shop, where I got my suckers in about 5 minutes and they are large and still growing, happy, healthy and well fed.
