“Saving my bacon”

A few weeks ago I dropped a glass in the bathroom and it hit the shower tray and knocked out a rather large 'chip'. I thought I was dead, but after speaking to a very pleasant and helpful young man, I received in the post a repair kit.

I showed this kit to my lovely partner, who was less than impressed by my carelessness, and she said she would have a go at repairing the chip. Little by little she built it up and then used all the sanding things and Lo! and Behold! A perfect repair.

How wonderful. I lived to see another day.
