I had not realised when I booked our Groupon that we had to organise flights and airports. When, after 17 days, I had heard nothing I made enquiries and was referred to the Tour Centre. It turned out we were 3 days over the limit so we had to pay another £50 each. In addition it appeared I had only booked for one, altho the Groupon had said two tickets were mandatory. I think most of the problems were at the Groupon end. It was a poor website on this occasion. We ended up paying over £400 when we could have arranged our own trip in a nicer hotel for less.
The person who dealt with the Tour Centre end of things was very helpful and reassuring. It was she who persuaded me to go ahead and not just lose our original payment of £139. She sent me all the details to check. The only thing I am still worried about is how we access the tour we are going on, as we have no paperwork for this.
