“Long Weekend In Venice”

With 'offers' I'm always a little cautious but the long weekend in Venice did not fail to impress. The is the second time I have been away with Fleetway Travel and I would say this occasion surpassed the first time.

The venue, flight etc was exactly as described so there were no hidden (nasty) surprises.

The Hotel, LaGare, was based on the island of Murano which made for a tranquil setting. The Hotel ran a shuttle from the airport which not only saved us circa 80 Euros but also made us feel a little like the Clooneys!! There was also a shuttle over to Venice if you booked in plenty of time.

The flight was with Monarch - a little disappointing going out with a two hour delay but they did provide us with food vouchers to soften the blow! No problem on the way back and the Captain even made up some time (which he did on the way out to be fair).

In terms of Fleetway themselves, extremely efficient. Good information. When the flight time changed we received an immediate update. Certainly recommend them as an operator and would certainly use them again.
