“Rude and aggressive delivery service. Appalled!”

I am in total shock and appalled after just having my wardrobes delivered by ikea. After having laid new cream carpets in my house I asked the delivery man to wipe his feet or take his shoes off after walking directly on the carpet. I had even laid down rugs for them to tread on. At first he ignored me, then he answered answered no. He then continued to walk dirty shoes over the carpet, which was totally avoidable as they were only placing it in the hall. After asking him again he said ok, but went to the van and I could see and hear them slamming my new furniture around in temper. He continued to bring the furniture in refusing to wipe his feet as asked. He was a big guy and very intimidating and aggressive. I suspect the furniture will be damaged when I unwrap it. He then told me to sign his form to accept the goods. I told him I wanted to check my receipt but he abruptly told me i did not need it and demanded I signed form. I signed the form and he stormed out without saying goodbye. Warning. Never use this delivery service. Especially if you are a female on your own or elderly as ikea delivery men are the most intimidating and aggressive I have ever experienced.
