In June I booked a return ticket to Australia for November with Travel Unravel which they informed me I could change for £125. Due to unforseen circumstances I have had to change it. This is when the problems started.
To begin with the first day I rang Travel Unravel twice and they failed to ring back as they had promised. Since there was no return call that day I rang early the following morning. After waiting for 2 hours for a return call promised within 1 hour I rang them for the 4th time and complained and was phoned back quarter of an hour later.
There followed a bizarre conversation in the course of which I was told it would cost me £900 to change to the same priced tickets in January because the Airline kept changing their contract every 1 to 2 weeks to which I replied that my contract was with them and not the Airline, whom he had suggested I should phone up. Also, he said, if I wished to understand why their promise to change the tickets for £125 was not valid I needed to go back to College for at least 3 years.
Not only have the company failed to keep their promises to ring back and to change my tickets for £125 (noone has disputed the promise) but some of their staff have been discourteous and dishonest. They have certainly lived up to their name and Unravelled my Travel plans. Seasoned Traveller
