“Ruined our family holiday ”

We booked with " on the beach " 8 weeks ago. We were supposed to be staying at Palm beach club which was a 2 bedroom apartment on the beach with our two children. Literally 10 days ago my husband just happened to log on to our account at " on the beach " to find our booking had been changed. They had sent the inbox message 2 weeks prior to us finding it and didn't have the decency to send us a proper email to our normal email address. They said out apartment had had been changed due to hygiene reasons and had booked us into a lower star hotel. Good job we checked ourselves otherwise we would have turned up and had a shock. We managed to change the booking for a 4 star and asked for 2 adjoining rooms a week before we were due to fly. Today we turned up in Tenerife at a lovely hotel called Belive La Nina only to find we have 1 room for us all for the week. The room is full of 4 single beds. We can't even get into the wardrobe because there's no room. We have contacted on the beach who have lied and said they are in talks with the hotel. The hotel is fully booked I have just spoken to reception. The hotel have just informed me the Never take bookings on their rooms for 4 people because they are too small. So thanks on the beach for being totally useless, taking our money then lying to us. Tomorrow is Sunday so I don't hold out much hope of them sorting anything for us. So far problem after problem. Would never ever book with this company again
