“NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM CURRYS”

Bought a matching Kenwood kettle and toaster from Currys in Eastbourne in November 2012. Less than two years later kettle starts to leak from the bottom of the inset plastic water gauge. Not right for an expensive kettle - I have had £8 plastic Tesco kettles last longer than this. Phoned Currys service centre to see what they were going to do about it. They phoned the Eastbourne branch. Short answer - nothing, not even the offer of any help to get it repaired. Lousy after-sales service Currys, 0 out of 10. Subsequently phoned Kenwood direct - absolutely brilliant. They phoned today and said they would replace the kettle free of charge. Currys - READ AND LEARN!!!
