“Awful service and underhand revised price offer”

I am writing to complain about the service my wife and I received from them on our recent dealings. We contacted them on the web site and after filling out the required forms they provided and giving the most accurate description of our phones we could give using the tools they allow, we were quoted £132 per phone, £22 more than Mazuma. We decided obviously to go with them and arranged for the phones to be collected.

On the day of collection, no one turned up. My wife chased them and we were assured someone would be picking up the phones, but no one did. That was annoying as it was an unnecessary delay. We eventually decided we would print the labels off ourselves and drop them at our inconvenience at a drop off point suggested by them, and the phones were returned.

We contacted them over the coming days and were told that the phones were being processed etc. and that once done we would hear from them – we waited over 7 days and when we chased again we were told they were experiencing a high level of business and that had delayed things, and they were sorry – at this point we had been waiting for over 2 weeks since the failed collection.

Yesterday (21st Oct), my wife received a mail from them saying the phones were not in the condition they expected and that they had revised their offer to us to £79 per phone, which is TOTALLY unacceptable. We told them as much as the web page allowed us to tell them about these phones, and then to have to wait for over two weeks to be told that they they will not honor the price that made us choose them, is out of order.

Needless to say, we will not be accepting their offer and we have requested that the two phones be returned to us ASAP so we can go to Mazuma who GUARANTEE a price to you – we have checked.

We regret dealing with this firm, from the failed pick up to the delay in appraisal to the derisory offer – and I will be making my feelings known to friends and colleagues on social media and the like, and take it as far as I can because I feel they acted unprofessionally and tried to take advantage of us.
