“A Professional Job”

My wife and I popped in to the CR Smith showroom one day to enquire about the replacement of our aging conservatory

Right from the start of the process the sales person was very helpful in providing us with the information we needed. His knowledge and experience was invaluable to us. He was not just trying to get a sale. We could see that the advice he gave us was geared to us becoming satisfied clients and not just a successful sale for him.

After negotiations and signing the agreement, everything kicked into gear and we were soon visited by the surveyor. A few weeks later and the two man team arrived to commence the job. The joiner in charge was well experienced and skilled and the job was completed in about a week or so to our satisfaction. The area supervisor visited every couple of days whilst the work was being done to ensure that we were happy with the quality of work and pace of progress. After completion, he followed up to check the work and ask if there were any issues that required attention. There were a few small snags and arrangements were made for the same team to came back to fix these. These were only minor issues and were dealt with swiftly.

Throughout the job, communication with CR Smith was excellent and we were always aware of what was happening and when.

The only problem we had during the build was with the subcontracted electrician who we asked to fit a couple of additional socket points and put up a ceiling fan for us. He said it would be no problem and did the work while he was there. We were then presented with an extortionate bill from him for this and I would advise anyone doing something similar to agree a price for such work beforehand.

Following installation of the new conservatory, we also got CR Smith to fit a new front door and 8 new windows for us and once again we were completely satisfied with the high quality of the product and the standard service received.

I can honestly say that CR Smith were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a similar service.
