“A TERRIBLE SERVICE WITH A DON'T CARE ATTITUDE”

I work full-time and had a very busy weekend on, so to make my life easier (or so I thought) I booked an Asda Home Delivery to come between 4pm - 6pm, when my husband would be in to receive it. We were going out to a friends party, being picked up at 6.45pm and I had included beer and other items on the delivery to take to the party. I phoned the customer services at 6pm to check the arrival time of the delivery and was told it would be with me by 6.15pm. At 6.40pm I rang again and was told they would make enquiries with the store and come back to me, no one did. I went out and left my husband at home to wait for the delivery. At 7.30pm I rang customer services for the third time and was again told someone would ring me back - no one did. Eventually the delivery rocked up at 7.40pm, the driver not even apologising and his attitude was of someone who didin't give a toss! My husband then had to drive that evening instead of enjoying a few drinks with the rest of us. I phoned Asda again the next day, to say that an item of window cleaner had leaked onto our cereal (why would you pack cleaning products with cereal?) and also to complain at their diabolical service. The lady was pleasant, obviously at a call centre half way across the world and said there was nothing they could do but refund the £3 deliver and the cost of the cereal and window cleaner. I however insisted that I wanted to make a formal complaint and she said a manager would ring me back. Needless to say that three days later I am still waiting for that call! Asda - you are a disgrace! If you had the courtesy to phone me back on that evening and not just completely ignored me I would have not felt so disgusted. Once they have the money for the shopping they don't give a toss! When I tried to fill in the 'contact form' on their website to get in touch with them, strangely enough this web page was not available!!
