I had an accident in August this year with third party admitted liability within 3 days and driver was really nice to me so thought insurance will be quick sorting my car out as wasn t much damaged instead it turned out like worse nightmare ever.. They turned round saying my car is a write off although only 70000 mileage new cambelt 8 months still on MOT etc..the quote for repair they said was going to be £3400 and refuse to give me another repair cost quote to compare.As I knew this was a complete utterly sham I demanded to buy my car back from them and to do so had to repay early finance on it which cost me dearly.. I had to constantly chase them and sometimes took 40 minutes to get to customer service pass on to all different staffs who didn' t have a clue whatsoever.They then finally a month later send me a deceiving letter saying cheque will be received within 7 days but received nothing ..when finally I couldn' t take it anymore physically and mentally I end up having to complain after no team managers even had decency to call me after I left messages.. The complain department was however brilliant they offered £150 towards phone bills ,£300 extra towards car when I thought stress will be over; they by mistake send my car to salvage instead of returning it to me ! so more stress more compensation .Took 2 months for them to return my car and the cost for repair is only £300 and that is buying brand new Renault moulding parts , would been even cheaper if I d gone second hands.What a total joke #nightmare #worse customer service ever !!!
