I waited 4.5 months for a refund on a previous policy which was ultimately refunded to the wrong account. I eventually needed to claim for a theft in July of this year. It is now October and I am still waiting. When I phoned I was advised that all the Engineers who assess the value of the bike are busy. It took five weeks for them to contact me after I put in the initial claim. I called and called on multiple occasions and was fobbed off with "our engineers are busy". The settlement amount offered was significantly less than the amount I had it valued at - and they amount they allowed me to insure it at - thus costing me more as a premium, a premium which they wont pay back.
Ultimately I am still waiting. Still waiting on a bike which was stolen three months ago. This has been a heart breaking experience and one which continues to this day.
