Good Points
Very quiet in use, to the extent that you can think it is not steaming when in fact it is.
Bad Points
2 niggles:-
1. The water filler is at the rear. The seal around the water filler leaks, therefore, when placed on its stand for only a few seconds, damp patches are left on the ironing board.
2. The integral stand is quite large and does not allow the iron to be placed in the cradle, which many ironing boards now contain.
General Comments
I bought the Tefal Aquaspeed FV5150 steam Iron and I found it to be very quiet to use, to the extent that you can think it is not steaming when in fact it is.
There are a couple of problems with it however. The water filler is at the rear. The seal around the water filler leaks, therefore, when placed on its stand for only a few seconds, damp patches are left on the ironing board. And, the integral stand is quite large and does not allow the iron to be placed in the cradle, which many ironing boards now contain.
