“Good deal, shame about delivery”

Great experience in the store - very helpful, quickly processed and good recommendations made. Checked that delivery staff would deliver to first floor flat in London and assured they would. Also ordered tiles but these were to be delivered on the same day but separately.
The tiles were delivered first by a sullen young man who wanted to drop the entire package off on the pavement outside the flat. After some persuading he offloaded in the hallway on the ground floor but placed it so the hallway was completely blocked. He absolutely refused to help in any way and I had to saw open the packet by myself and struggle upstairs with each pack of tiles myself quickly so that fellow tenants could access the property.
The bath, toilet, shower etc came later. I was given a 4 hour delivery slot to wait in. With 2 minutes remaining of the time slot I got a call to say they would be at least 30 minutes late… which they were and another 5 minutes on top. However they more than made up for this by being very helpful and bringing all the goods up to my flat. The bathroom has not yet been installed as my plumber let me down… so will have to update on the functionality at a later date. The chap at the store phoned me this week to make sure the delivery had happened which was nice.
