“Superb service when booking with Kenwood Travel”

In October 2013 we started looking for a destination for our wedding/honeymoon abroad. We did a lot of research and found a few hotels that we were interested in, in Mauritius. When searching for travel agents that went to Mauritius, we came across Kenwood Travel on the Google search. Having never heard of them, I gave them a call to get a quote and some additional information about Mauritius and the hotels we had shortlisted. The 0800 number put us through to an advisor very quickly - who was efficient and helpful.

We had a lot of questions and Craig was very patient. After a few phone calls and emails back and forth negotiating prices and upgrades we booked through Kenwood Travel for our 17 night all inclusive stay at Lux Belle Mare in Mauritius.

The main reasons why we chose to book with Kenwood rather than their competitors were:
- Comparable prices to competitors with added extras such as private transfers
- Staff knowledge of the product was second to none - having been to the island and stayed at the hotel
- Staff knowledge of our key questions - weather, time of year to go
- Offered flight upgrades at great rates
- Although a call centre operated business, we had one point of contact with a direct dial number and email which was a real bonus for us as the questions continued until we travelled!
- Impressive relations between Kenwood and the Hotel chain (in Mauritius and in the UK) and with the airline.

All in all a great experience booking with Kenwood, even during their busiest period when I had to chase a few things.

We will be using them again in the future.
