I ordered several tap sets, bath mixer, waste and cistern lever all from the same manufacturers range. Victorian Plumbing shipped the goods whilst my wife and I were away for a few days and delivery was accepted by our builder. All of the tap sets were fitted by the builder whilst we were away to avoid the mess and disruption. Upon our return we discovered that Victorian Plumbing had shipped basin taps from a different product range instead of the identical cloakroom taps that we had ordered and they had acknowledged. When contacting their so called customer service department we were told that nothing could be done because they had not been notified within 48 hours and the incorrect taps had been fitted.
Apparently it is OK to ship the entirely incorrect product, even when acknowledging the correct item, and then hide behind terms and conditions that fall outside the sale of goods act. AWFUL SERVICE AND I WILL CERTAINLY NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN !!!
