What can I say? ''do NOT buy & get delivered any furniture from Ikea!' Waited in all day from 7.00am & after numerous phone calls to their customer services (at my expense) & after listening to mind numbingly boring 'Abba' for hours on end I am still waiting for my sofa to be delivered! It is now 6.00pm. I have been assured throughout the day once my 1.00 delivery deadline passed that my sofa would be with me within the hour!! This has been on going since 1.00pm. I have been too worried about missing the delivery to go out so have been virtually housebound all day. What a depressing experience & I am totally shocked at the appalling disregard for the customer. How on earth have/do Ikea get away with it? From my first point of contact with a very disinterested salesman in Brent Park Ikea's home delivery dept to this present time I have experienced truly shocking service! I should have listened to my instincts which were telling me 'abort mission' right from the moment I walked into the store. Rude, off hand staff ( that's if you could find any) and badly stocked shelves!! All should have alerted me to the all these potential problems!! Never again!!!!
