Just purchased a 2 year old car from car giant. Arrived at 2pm left at 8pm!!!! As car did not come with tax we had to walk ( as we had part exchanged our car with them) firstly to williesden green to a post office that does not offer tax ( we were sent there by the salesman) after this we had to walk to Sheperds Bush post office only to discover we did not have the correct paperwork to get car tax (also salesman who assured us all we needed was our proof of purchase for car..... Wrong info.
I called up car giant from outside post office to explain the first post office did not sell car tax and the Sheperds Bush one would not supply us as we had incorrect documents. The girl I spoke to was very apologetic and said to make our way back to car giant and the manager would call me back. 20 mins later no phone call so I called back to be given the trainee sales guy who sold us the car and gave us the wrong info in the first place. Salesman still argued with me that he was right and this is what he tells all the customers.Got back to car giant fuming demanded to speak to manger.
To cut a much longer story short the trainee salesmen had to go out to a post office for us at 7pm to get our car tax else we would have had no way of getting home (wembley being only post office open till 8pm). Staff need so much more training and should not tell customers they can drive the newly purchased car to the post office this is illegal!!!! Also do not be ripped off into buying any of the extras as it's all a massive money making scheme.Very unimpressed overall. And whats the admin fee for!!??
