“Abandoned cruise-Suite double booked”

Booked a Uniworld cruise direct with Titan a year in advance. Received confirmation of our suite number requested. Arrived at cruise boat to find suite already occupied by someone who had booked eight months in advance. Refused downgrade offered and abandoned trip and went home. Error incurred when Titan Agent incorrectly inputed wrong type of suite even though all correspondence quoted correct suite number. As a Sunday, crew had no emergency number to deal with the problem, but they did assist in getting us back to the UK a day later.

On our return, Titan Director immediately accepted responsibility, and recompensed all our costs from the time we left home until we returned home together with substantial compensation due to our loss of holiday.

Although we would like to use Uniworld again, we would not book directly through Titan again.
