Overall the process was good with an exception at the start of the process.
Our dog was rushed into surgery (somewhat traumatic for us, to say the least) after having taken him there in the morning because we thought he'd perhaps had a stroke. When we got back home I contacted Animal Friends to say what had happened & was told that I should've gained pre-authorisation for the op, which in the circumstances had not been possible.
After an exchange of emails - all rather upsetting for us as we were fearing the worst for our dog at the time (fortunately he has since recovered), it was agreed that pre-authorisation had not been possible & the claim process proceeded smoothly.
