“Outsourced services have sapped Customer service”

I have used Tesco for my vehicle insurance needs on several occasions in the past.

However on my last use of their services on receiving vehicle damage, I realised they had outsourced the various tasks to FIVE different companies.

Yes, you guessed it; I had phone calls from all of these companies. The most annoying part of this is they ALL asked for the exact same information.
When I expressed a smidgeon of dismay I was given the usual 'for security purposes' excuse - Tesco cannot pass on the information - BULL!

But this was not the pinnacle of my angst, no.
Carpenters Solicitors were the fifth and worst company Tesco foolishly sub-contracted to.

I have written a separate review on this site, such was my impression at the level of anti-service. But suffice to say this company should be renamed
Carpenters Solicitossers.

Sorry Tesco but your efforts to reduce cost have backfired and loaded unnecessary angst on your customers. AVOID.
