I have never used HERMES but i ordered an item from a retail establishment and was told It would be delivered today. The whole day i waited for this delivery losing a days pay in the meantime. Looking at the tracker at 1814hrs i was informed the driver would reattempt to deliver the item on the Monday. The driver didn't even attempt the first time. If i had not rung them to find out about my parcel i would be none the wiser. I was informed that the driver had too many deliveries to deliver today so would deliver on Monday. I ask how do they know the driver will be able to deliver on the Monday. Yodel and the Royal Mail are so efficient. I'm recording conversations and e-mails as this may turn into an investigation for Watchdog.
