“Poor quality and bad attitude”

written by 310Ritchie on 03/09/2014

We spent over £11,000 of our hard earned money on our dream kitchen. Mostly we are pleased with our overall kitchen - this is mainly down to the fact that we used our own fitter, but the service from the Magnet Stoke branch has been appalling!
Our designer from the Stoke show room was initially very lovely and really lulled us in. But from the moment we paid the amount of problems we had with the design, mainly the lack of attention to detail and wrong ordering of products etc was ridiculous.
The finish of some of the products are under par and quite honestly embarrassing for what we thought was a quality brand.
We were sold a boiling tap at over £600 which didnt fit the design of the kitchen and when I called to ask for some help the response from the designer was 'it's not my problem I just design it'. Surely you have to design a kitchen that is actually going to fit and work?
When we complained to the manager of the store he quite literally couldn't care.
It really feels like once they've taken your money they couldn't care less and there's no come back - no one to help.
I wouldn't recommend Magnet - or maybe specifically not the Stoke Branch and if I was to do it again I would consider going to B&Q or somewhere similar...
