“Don't even deserve one star!”

I had some expensive personal items shipped back from Miami in March via a professional shipper when they had not arrived I checked with parcelforce in only to be told they had been sent back to the USA economy with no tracking because they did not have my address. When I queried the fact they had sent them back so quickly I was told that they expected the customer to keep a check on their parcel and that they did not keep any records.So basically it was my fault not theirs! Now this was only in April and was coming from the US which often takes time it had barely touched down at the ParcelForce Gatwick Depot in st James Way before it was apparently sent back again with no attempt to contact me or the shipper.
When I raised the following points with customer service I got no answer to them.
If the address was damaged externally how did it reach the UK? There would have been documentation inside the parcel with all the address details.
They had the senders address so the documents must have been intact. The address had to be correct because the US Postal service have a coded tracking system and the item could not be posted without it.
I raised these points numerous times with Parcel Force who failed to answer them always providing me with contradictory excuses finally providing me with this excuse: 'I’m sorry we are unable to advise you of any further details about this parcel. When a parcel arrives into the UK, the complete address is not on Parcelforce systems. As we are no longer in possession of the parcel we cannot comment on whether the label was torn or that any documentaton was missing.'
They completely ignored my last email.
The parcel never arrived in the US and the US Postal Service said that according to their records it had never left the UK. They launched an investigation and were told by ParcelForce it had been returned. However ParcelForce can provide no evidence of this.
