“I have been a Nokia fan for years & have owned many...”

Good Points
Excellent looks, good mp3 quality, many handy features, dictaphone.

Bad Points
Low ring & message beep volume. Illogical menu system. Very slow serial connection for downloading MP3's.

General Comments
I have been a Nokia fan for years & have owned many different mobiles. This SL45 phone from Siemens looks cool & has some great features. The MP3 player is outstanding although it would benefit from a larger capacity multimedia card. The serial port connection for downloading tunes is a joke. Why didn't Siemens use a USB port? The unit is a bit of a "posers phone". Sure it looks great & has some features which are handy but it is let down badly by a very poor menu system, small multimedia card & ridiculously slow serial port connection. If you don't want the mp3 player get a Nokia.
