We spent 17th to 21st August on a city break to Barcelona. All was well with flights , hotel and location , a good week all in all,until shared shuttle service for return journey to airport. We did as instructed and phoned the service the day before our flight and were told to be ready in reception at 0950hrs. We made extra sure and were waiting at 0930hrs. Sadly by 1010hrs no transport arrived. We asked reception at the hotel to call for us to save any language difficulties but were told we were meant to be at a pickup point elsewhere, and the transport had left without us. They said we would have to make our own way to the airport. Obviously this totally spoilt the break and caused considerable stress.
On return I e mailed LowCost to complain and request a refund of the cost of the return trip and my incurred taxi fare but why was I not surprised when I was ignored.
We are very disappointed with the service, and would not recommend.
