“Could not get promtion code discount”

I tried to get the promotion code discount for this flight that was advertised today by Smart Fares on its web site. I typed it in and it said the code was invalid, yet that was the code that I was instructed to type into the Promotion Code box.
since I wanted to but the ticket today, I decided to pay the full price advertised for this RT Boston to Philadelphia flight -$111.20

Based on my inability to get that advertised promotion code discount, I could not recommend my friends use Smart Fares to order tickets online.
