“Admitted cheque was not in the post”

I realised after renewing with Autoaid that I no longer needed their services so phoned immediately to cancel, well before the renewal date. They insist they can not refund payment to a credit card. They claimed to have sent a cheque but subsequently admitted they hadn't done so. They now claim to have sent a second cheque but are still asking for bank details. The cheque still hasn't arrived.

I have asked for details of their complaints policy which involves complaining to Lloyds.

These people may be cheap but if they don't want to pay out it could you alot more than me.
