I recently insured my classic car with Adrian Flux. 2 days later they contacted me to question that I did not mention a claim I had 2 years ago. This was an honest mistake that I had forgot about. It was a no loss claim where an elderly person hit my car in a car park. Adrian Flux decided to charge me £35 extra for "withholding information". I told them that it was an honest mistake and that they were making me feel that I had done it deliberately. I was so cross that I shopped around and found a cheaper quote. I rang Adrian Flux back who had requested that I send photocopies of my driving license, proof of mileage and proof of value. I told them that as per instructions because the policy was not 14 days old I would like to cancel the policy and get " a full refund". Adrian Flux are withholding £50 + the £35. So for a policy costing £126 they are refusing to pay back £85. The policy is only 4 days old. I'm glad not to be insured by them. What a con!!!
