Had arranged for a plumber to repair w/c flushing mechanism and gave Homeserve several days notice. Visit was planned for a Friday morning between 8am and midday. I called in the morning to ask if the plumber was visiting and was told all was OK. I called again at 12.10 as the plumber hadn't arrived and was told someone would call me to let me know when I would get a visit. Nobody called back so at 2pm I gave up.
I booked the call again the following week and no explanation was given about the poor service. The second appointment was kept and was on time.
Will look elsewhere when the policy expires.
