“Disgusting Customer Service”

I arranged to collect my parcel from the local depot as it had not arrived on time, I received an e-mail confirmation to collect between 8.30-9.30am on Friday 22nd August.
When I arrived at the depot 20 miles away I was faced with a very unhappy shift manager muttering he was busy and there was no record of my parcel, after showing him my e-mail confirmation he looked again and just blankly told me it was on a lorry round the back and I couldnt have it until Monday(Bank Holiday)
I told him several times that i needed this parcel for my business for the day and that is why I had travelled the 20 miles, he just repeated I can have it on Monday.
I got no apology from the shift manager and so lost my temper and was told to leave while he rang the police.
This is an absolute disgrace and made even more so after over 1 hour of telephone calls to head office they said I could have it on Tuesday.
This has left me £125 out of pocket and a 40 mile round trip for the incompetence of DPD/Interlink
