“Bad Expeiences Using This Site - Avoid”

1st time I used the site I had £585 pounds stolen by A to Z automotive.

2nd time I used the site I was promised the part for two weeks then told that inspection had shown the part was faulty. Doncaster Autoparts. This company quotes on parts then tries to find them whilst lying to customers that they have them available. If they cannot find the part after 2 weeks they make up an excuse and say they cannot deliver it. I have spoken to 5 people in the office there and each of them is happy to carry on the lying suggesting that is their chosen business strategy.

3rd time I used the site I again was quoted by Doncaster Autoparts who took £1200 and then kept me waiting for 2 weeks. They promised me on three occasions that the courier was picking up or had picked up my part. When I finally contacted the courier they assured me they had not picked up my part and Doncaster Autoparts were in fact lying to me.

Doncaster Autoparts continued to lie about this saying that the part had been damaged by the courier and could not be delivered. Even after a 3 way call where the courier put the record straight Lisa who is apparently the office manager in Doncaster autoparts continued to lie to the point where I became embarrassed for her. Calls were logged and recorded to be passed on to the financial ombudsman. The bottom line is this is a thoroughly untrustworthy company.

My issue is that Breakerlink allow companies like these to continue using their site to waste customer’s time or defraud them of money.

Breakerlink should shoulder responsibility for the companies it is working with and at least attempt to weed out the crooked ones.

The ability to leave reviews on the Breakerlink website is close to useless due to tiny number of characters available. This feels like it is in place to ensure you cannot leave a meaningful review for other customers who are in danger from the companies represented on the site.
