“Customer Services Shocking !!!!!”

After looking online at several rental companies , we opted for Doyouspain. The prices they quoted were very competitive. The online process was very straight forward & I opted to take the extra Gold insurance that they were pushing for an extra fee.
When we arrived at Murcia Airport after a long flight with young children late at night, I was informed that the extra insurance that I had purchased from Doyouspain was not valid. I was left with the option of a very large security deposit or I would have to buy the insurance from the hire company. We still had a 40min drive to look forward to in the dark. i opted to take the insurance from the hire company as it was the cheaper option. i was told to cancel the first policy with doyouspain. I tried contacting doyouspain as soon as we could which was the next morning. I was contacted twice via email looking for more detail from doyouspain, after which i have contacted them another 2 times with no responce. I hired the car with Firefly, the car that i had pre booked was not the car that i recieved.The car was in very poor condition bodywork wise & was stinking with smoke even though it had no smoking signs within the car.I feel that Doyouspain once they get your money , could not really care less of any issue you have & i base this on the lack of communication that i have had from them. If I was ever to return to Murcia I would stay away from Firefly rental also.
