“Money refund, service.”

Booked on their site, two tickets from Plymouth to Bristol return. Great day but the train was packed from Ply to Brst. Had to find seats booked but not in use, ok my fault should have booked seats.
The return trip was just as packed, my fault again should have booked seats, this time the carriage (the last one,where food is dispensed) smelt like a men's urinal most of the trip, temperatures were high that day (27 July) this carriage had NO air conditioning. When I asked the porter his response was "I did say the air conditioning wasn't very good" to which I said "but it's not working" response with a very large grin on his face was "that's what I meant by it,s not very good" laughed and walked away.
The tickets were booked on their web site on the 27 July, money taken on the 28 July, £101:40 so I thought, looking at my statement they took another £101:40 on the same day. You might well think easy to remedy ring job done.
No way with cross country, they want the tickets back, as i only had one pair of tickets and they are now in the gates at Bristol and Plymouth, it is now 14 days since my first of many calls to them. I still have no money returned, but they can see taking it twice was a mistake.
Wish they had given me two weeks plus to pay!!!!
