“Won't write many words but in the title what I said...”

Won't write many words but in the title what I said will elaborate a bit.
I was trying to book a European vacation for maximum days covering major tourist locations and found everyone offering similar packages with deviation in one or two locations, routes, optional tours etc.
I am not advised to give my name but I am a 60 yrs man, a businessman from India who did all evaluations and found Star Tours Offer comparable with few of India's best tour operators. What was missing is I had never heard of Star tours from any of my friends, so did not have any reference about them. I had visited their stall in OTM Fair held in Mumbai and well had saved their catalogue. I wished to join tour of known operators but the problem was I wanted to visit my daughters in US After the tour and non of the known operators guaranteed departure dates thus not letting me decide. Finally when two of them confirmed the dates the cost of air ticket remanded by them was exorbitant. Out of blue one day went to Star Tours office in Mumbai at Malad and the staff who attended me made it sure I join the tour. My recurring visits made me interact with other staff and trust me they had a human approach not just a fake smile to get business.
What I liked best about Star Tours was their printing dates of departures in brochures, adhering to itinerary, delivering what is promised. Only after going to London I visited their London office and found staff there too very cordial and helping. Next day when we joined the 18 days GRAND EUROPE TOUR I saw at least 6 other buses of Star Tours getting filled. It was a sigh of relief as I was sure not in wrong hands.
Not much would like to say on the places of visit as every travel agent includes them thus they have taken pains researching the worthiness of visit. The itinerary sure is tiring but OK can't afford few many days for few many Euros or pounds.
The best places I liked in the tour are:
Madurodam, cruise in river Rhine, Jungfrau, Mt. Titles, Gondola ride in Venice, Rome for the ancient remains, Vatican for the grandeur, Cable car ride to Mt. Solaris, Eiffel Tower - sure an engineering marvel from the times when computers were not available and making this huge structure without welding,
Few things which I did not like in the trip are :
Quality Hotel, Wembley is not upto the mark. Old fashioned rooms with not working airconditioners, not very helping staff etc. I would suggest unless the refurbish their rooms non of the tour operators should give them business.
Such big number of tourist in one bus. We were 62 pax from 8 yrs to 83 yrs. the reason being it was a much trouble getting out of bus even with two doors and limited time available. This was more trouble to our tour leader/guide/friend whom I am not suppose to name still will do that, Mr. Hoshang, who often had to pacify passengers who felt bad about being last every time. Either reduce the number of pax or make sitting arrangement by rotation.
Now WiFi is way of life and we'll such 3 to 4 star hotels should provide it free even in guests rooms. Few hotels did have good coverage but few had very poor range even in Lobby.
4 places we were served dinner from Hotels where we had enjoyed lunch. These dinner served were not worth not just because the food was not allowed to warm but even the selection of dishes. Anyway food is not to important still the suggestion is if it can be improved
Finally please forgive me as the site does not wish me to write names but if I don't it will pinch me as had these guys not been nice probably this tour would not have been fun.
Mr. Hoshang - Man of many skills who made long hours of journey fun. There were no Vedic or audio system working but he initiated passengers to take part in ANTAKSHARI an indoor game popular in India where one sings a song taking clue from the last word of the previous singer, made passengers crack jokes etc and created an atmosphere that we all felt as if we are one big family.
Our bus driver Mr. Yuvan who drove such a big bus with so many of us in through streets so narrow that every passenger used to clap when he cleared such spots as if he is cycling through it.
Honestly would recommend Star tours to those who feels a package tour is easier than doing one on their own.
I wish I be allowed to write my name which is Sunil Shah, 60 yrs gujju businessman from Mumbai
