Placed an order with this company on Sunday 3rd August and paid £4.95 for premium delivery as i needed the items quickly. The website states that "Our Premium service offers quicker delivery of your order in 1-2 days from the time of dispatch, excluding Sundays. This is a 24h fully-tracked next day service from the day of dispatch from our warehouse." I received an email on the Monday to tell me that I could expect my delivery on, or before, the 7th August. When the 7th came, my parcel did not. And so I emailed Pet supermarket with my complaint. On the 8th August, I called pet supermarket as i had not had a reply; The person that I spoke to informed me that my parcel had left the warehouse, however, she would recall the parcel and I would receive a full refund within 5 working days. I then went to Pets at Home to purchase the items that i needed.
On the Saturday, the pet supermarket parcel arrived. I attempted to call the company throughout the day, to be met with a voice mail stating that their opening times are 10am to 2pm on a Saturday...this was clearly an absolute bloody lie!!!!!!! They were shut ALL day!
and so, i sent another email, stating my dissatisfaction VERY clearly, providing my phone number and asking that someone get in touch. I received a reply stating that they are receiving a high volume of emails at the moment (not surprised!!) and that they would contact me within 48hrs.
They haven't.
To say that i am absolutely Flipping furious is an understatement. The parcel is still sat in my porch, untouched.
This is possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. A thoroughly incompetent service and blatant lies about delivery capabilities and opening times. I've been left nearly £20 out of pocket by these people.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Pet Supermarket like the plague. Awful Awful Awful.
Go to Pets at Home. Trust me.
