“Poor customer service”

I recently made a booking with on the beach for a hotel stay with my family. I was completely dissatisfied with the accommodation and also felt unsafe. Having contacted on the beach as soon as their offices opened, no urgent action was taken about my complaint resulting in me paying for an extra nights accommodation which I did not use. I made three calls to them and while they advise that you will be charged 10p per minute plus international rate, you will be held in a queue for anything up to 45 minutes. Other travel websites you will get through to immediately. On return to the UK I made a complain to their customer service and after 6 days I still had not received an acknowledgment of my complaint. After emailing them again seeking an acknowledgement of my complaint, they finally emailed me to say it will take anything from 28 to 56 days to respond. Do not use on the beach, others will give you must better service.
