“Absolute disgrace, never had an experience like it ”

This whole process has been a mess since day one. (order placed 06/07/14)

Firstly the day after placing the order they contacted me to scrutinise me and the order I was placing, making me feel like a criminal.

Our order was meant to be with us within three to four weeks. At the beginning of week three, after no contact at all from sofa world I contacted them to find out some details and for a progress report and to find out why we had received no confirmation regarding our order and an order number to use the online tracking system. I was told the order was still in the manufacturer stage and no further information was available. I was also unable to track my order as it was not being shown on the 'track your order' section on the website.

The next contact was again made by myself at the beginning of week four. We where told that our sofa would not be delivered within the time frame given, due to the manufacturer being on there summer holiday and I would be contacted as soon as they where available. The Friday of the fourth week I received a text message saying that my sofa would arrive four days later on the Tuesday.

So on the Tuesday we waited in all day for our sofa. At 3 P.M I made a phone call to find out what time the sofa would be arriving only to be told that it would not be arriving, that they would look into it and they would call me the next day to let me know what had happened.

On Wednesday we received a call and where told that the person dealing with our order would not be available to the following Tuesday (today 12/08/14).

We actually received a worrying email on the Monday (yesterday) asking us if it was a left handed or right handed sofa that we had ordered.

So today we have finally received an email saying that our order is due to be dispatched this week, but still no answer as to when it will be dispatched and when it will be delivered. So our problems continue although the order is now showing on the tracker part of the website.

Zero stars on all fronts. But the website makes you give at least one.
