“Decent - but don't bother with the app”

The genersl funcionality of the site and its features is reliable, helpful and definitely helps you to achieve the goals that you need.
I do use a fairly restricted number of the features, as I tend to find the forum more annoying than useful, the menus are not really designed for someone who has to cook for one person. However, those that I do do are good.

I have one big problem with Nutracheck: The android app is essentially unusable, which is a real problem if you don't want to carry a notebook with you or cart lots of food packaging around! The barcode scanner crahes or doesn't recognise barcodes that the website does recognise, the app crashes frequently, it is painfully slow when not crashing and often suffers network errors when the phone data connection is absoutely fine. Also, there is no obvious way to quite the app - I don't like having apps running needlessly in the background and find this unacceptable.
