We stayed in one of the delightful one bed courtyard apartments in late July 2014. This was a well equipped, immaculate and very comfortable place to stay in a beautiful, peaceful location. We were made very welcome by all members of the family owners and encouraged to explore the castle buildings, the country walk, gardens and to watch milking on this lovely working farm.
There was plenty to do in the local area with Johnstown Castle, the Heritage Centre, the fascinating museum in Enniscorthy about the uprising in 1798,the battle site on Vinegar Hill and Father Murphy's home in Boulavouge. Wexford town, the Dunbrody famine ship in New Ross and the old lighthouse out at Hook Head are all worth a visit. We managed to do all of the above in our three night stay and we were blessed with glorious hot sunny weather!!!
This is definitely a place we will come back to to both explore more of the local area and relax in the delightful Kiliane Castle.
Go and visit, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
