“Thomas Cook (lack of) service centre”

I made a horrible mistake in booking with Thomas Cook. I made a silly mistake in a passenger name spelling was happy to pay for it to be corrected and no way to do it on line. Rang TC was told Expedia had to correct it. Expedia correctly told me TC had to change it and it took 90 minutes on an expensive phone line and 70 pounds to finally correct the mistake. Apart from gouging 70 pounds for something that should be allowed to correct on line, the ignorance of the help line staff is absolutely disgusting. By the time I paid for all the extras, it would have been cheaper to go with British Airways. STAY AWAY FROM THOMAS COOK AIRLINES. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. THEY ARE A BAD VERSION OF RYANAIR AND EASYJET IS A MAINSTREAM CARRIER COMPARED WITH THEM FOR SERVICE.
