I'll be brief, as I don't want to waste yet more time over Skatehut.
I purchased a 'KHE Tricky' BMX bike for my son. Website stated 'in stock', and delivery was free and next-day.
Next day, their courier emailed to say they hadn't received the package from Skatehut, so no bike that day. Nor the day after, which prompted me to contact Skatehut. A complacent staffmember seemed rather baffled as to why I was chasing, as delivery had by this time been re-re-scheduled for the Monday - five days after ordering.
Surprise, surprise, the bike didn't arrive on the Monday, so yet again, it was me who did the chasing. This time, a more responsible member of staff discovered the bike hadn't been in stock after all, and arranged direct delivery from their supplier.
The bike arrived, a week late, but it hasn't been plain sailing. The tyres were so weak, they tore and I have had to replace them and the inner tubes with ones from Halfords, at a cost of £30. The valves were, I found out, a rare type ('Dunlop'), rarely used over here, and more common in India.
That's the last quarter of an hour I waste on Skatehut - I'd adise you not to waste any time at all with them.
