“Very misleading so far”

written by MBrady67 on 30/07/2014

Bought a pre-order unlock for £19.99 from this seller on April 8th and waited until July 9th to receive an e-mail stating that Unlock now available for Verizon USA - takes just 24 hours and this includes blacklisted units, so I paid an extra £65 on the 9th July, however the 24 hours passed and I received an e-mail stating that it could be up to a further 72 hours but that time passes also. I then received another e-mail on Monday 19th July stating that the unlocks will be through on Wednesday July 21st July only to receive another e-mail on Wednesday July21st stating that due to the backlog it could take another 72 hours, needless to say that as of today July 29th I still have not received my unlock since buying my pre-order on April 8th almost 4 months ago and waiting a further 20 days for what was supposed to be a 24hr unlock. I have saved e-mails from the seller to verify that all that I have stated above is correct should trustpilot request it if the seller disputes my claims.
UPDATE: Received an e-mail today form this seller apologising for missing the first two deadlines and that phone should be unlocked within 30 days of purchase or they would refund in full, they said that the type of unlock (worldwide network) I purchased is slow due to demand, but I don't dispute that and I don't particularly want a refund either, I just want my phone unlocked in a reasonable amount of time and better communications from their support when I inquire about my purchase.
