“Helpful support from Wimdu”

I booked an apartment in Germany via Wimdu. When I entered my credit card details, I received a text message from my credit card office warning me about a possible fraud. It said the amount was charged by Adyen UK LTD.
When I spoke with a helpful Wimdu staff member, he confirmed that they used Adyen's service.
He also advised me not to transfer any money directly to the host and to inform Wimdu should any problems occur.
Overall, I have felt reassured, however, it took a while until I got through.
It would be helpful to inform customers beforehand that a different company charges the credit cards.
