I was in the market for a new PC, at first I looked at the pre-built off the shelf models, but to get the spec I wanted meant going well over budget and pay for stuff I didn't need, so I came to PC specialist where I could build a system to my own spec and budget without having to pay more for unneeded extras, designing my own system on the PC specialist website was quite fun, and where something was incompatible or put me over budget, it was easy to go back and change it.

In the end I went for a mid-range desktop system with Windows 7 installed as Windows 8 has known issues with some of the older software that I use.

Order placed, I was kept well informed about the PCs progress throughout the building and testing process which didn't take quite as long as I thought it would.

It arrived when promised well packed and in perfect condition all ready to set up.

Setting up was easy as windows was already fully installed, all it needed was for windows to be verified and updated which it did without issue.

I am very pleased with the new PC, everything is working as expected, I am currently transferring data and programs from the old PC to this one via a KVM switch and a data transfer cable which is taking longer than expected due to problems with the old PC not liking the data transfer software.

Everything I have installed so far is running great, including my graphics and photo editing software, no doubt there will be some problems with old software designed for Windows XP running on a new 64 bit machine, but nothing that can't be sorted out.

Over all I am very pleased with my purchase and the service I got from PC specialist, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
