I initially booked with you as the flights on the website were cheaper then any other website that I looked at. Although on the website it stated that 'All prices on this site are subject to availability and may change from day to day or even hour to hour. Prices are based on regularly updated feeds from our brokers, suppliers and airlines. When you place an order you are confirming that you wish to book at the stated price.' The next day when I received a phone call stating that the return flight had risen significantly in price I was surprised when I checked the website to find that the actual price of the flights that I previously booked the day before was still on the website. After a few days of deliberation I then decided to go ahead with the booking. However, upon reflection I believe that due to the fact of the misconception of the price of the flight not being updated on the website that it would have been good customer service on your part to offer something minor as to upgrade us from shuttle transfer to speedy transfer or to increase our baggage allowance. Moreover, after booking I contacted holiday gems regarding the price of increased hold baggage allowance only to be told that I did have any hold luggage and would have to pay £70 each to add this. However, i was informed by via the custoker advisory hat I had spoken to that this would be included in my initial price. I contacted Monarch airlines regarding this and managed to add the allowance for under £50 each rather than the £70 requesed by holiday gems. Feel, misconceived and ripped off!
