I have been with Churchill for a number of years. No problems but as I have now discovered this is because all I have required to do so far is pay my annual premium when it became due. Now that I require to cancel my policy they are unobtainable!! I have called for over a week now, continually put on hold unless I go through to the new quotes line which was answered within a minute. I stated that I wanted to cancel my policy and did not want to be put on hold again, guess what, put on hold until I again hung up. Just going to check how much all of these calls have cost me and send an email to Churchill and the ombudsman. I had to give this company one star in order that the review was published but they are effectively making it impossible for me to obtain any refund for the remaining six months of my policy. From the methods used it is clear to me that this is a well used Churchill tactic.
