“Pisa: We put a dent in the car, they were very helpful”

As young drivers (who had to pay a young driver excess) these guys were the cheapest, we also had a free second driver which was very useful.

Arrived at Pisa Airport and there was a very short queue at the desk, the people on the desk were helpful, explained everything we needed to know. Contract said to return the tank full, they told us to only return half full as we were being given the car half full (they wrote all this on the paperwork so there would be no disputes later).

We checked the car and took photos (there were a couple of scratches not mentioned on the report they gave us). Car was great, no problems. On one of the days the second driver hit a wall and dented the car. On returning the car they obviously noticed the dent but were very reasonable. They asked us had we purchased excess waiver insurance, when we said we had bought it from a separate company they told us exactly how to claim and even agreed to send all the relevant documents by email instead of post. We claimed on insurance and it was settled very quickly.
