I applied for a temporary receptionist position with this 'agency.'
a few days after i sent off my application, i was contacted by one of their consultants, who informed me that she had seen my CV online, and asked me to call her back. She sounded really positive, so i thought that maybe she had found me something.
i have a physical disability, so i thought that i had better phone her up to arrange an face to face appointment, so i would be able to brief her about my situation, so i called her and said that i wanted to come in and have a chat. The hopes i had felt about my prospects were then abruptly dashed when she told me that she couldn't remember calling me,(though she did definitely call, because she left a voicemail message)
she also couldn't remember what position that she had earmarked my CV for, though she said she thought it was for a job that had already reached The interview stages, so i couldn't go in for that. The final nail in the coffin was when i told her i had recently left college and she went on to say, "I presume you don't have any office experience, then?" (i left college with 2 NVQ certs in level 2 business admin and customer service,) there are people out there desperate for jobs, and they think that they can get away with taking advantage!! If you are serious about getting a good Job with good prospects, stay away from this poor excuse of a company.
